The Fellowship. This is the first song to feature all the members of the 2008ighties crew on a single track. The rappers make up the group BRKF$T Club and with Sani on the production it makes it a true 2008ighties song. Its dope as fuck, so don't be afraid to press play. 

Legit has a few upcoming performances that we want to let you know about. The flyers are posted below with another one coming in the near future so make sure to check back soon. Columbia's Got Talent is next monday, and the show at Super Cold Chicago is Saturday April 28th. 

Some of you folks may remember the Digital Freshness event Legit performed at a couple weeks back. We had a really great turn out. (Shouts to Ruby Hornet and Jugrnaut) After the performance, Mitchell Wenkus (Who also directed the Danny Ocean video) caught up with Legit to ask him about his thoughts on the Trayvon Martin situation, and also the challenge of succeeding commercially with conscious music. Today AEMMP Records over at Columbia released the second single for their forthcoming tape which has brought together many of the best up and coming artists from around Chicago. The song is called "Fast Food For Thought" and can be downloaded below.  

Check out this new track from Good Vocation member Jamal Mar which features our own Legit on the track. They both go the fuck in on this track and just dismantle the beat. Jay-Z also makes an appearance so show some love. As always download the track below.

Legit releases the highly anticipated music video for the song "Danny Ocean" off of his last project "Coloring Outside The Lines", directed by Mitch Weinkus. Our last music video release went very well with "A Nigger in Northface" and we need this to do numbers as well. So after you're done watching the video, hit the comments section of youtube, other blogs that you see it on, and post it everywhere on twitter and facebook. In the latest addition of New Shit Saturday's Legit releases a song called "Some Boring Shit" produced by Sani, and also features a verse from L.A. Van Gogh. Hit the download link below and keep an eye out on the blogs for the song so you can post some comments. 

Check out a song that Legit was just featured on called "Graveyard". The beat is fantastic and as always the lyrics are deep and meaningful. Today Legit drops off the latest song in his installment of New Shit Saturday's. Below is the song Poetry Club V. If you haven't heard the first 4 make sure to check those out, they can be found in the discography section. Definitely make sure to put this one on repeat and turn the speakers up. 

I felt it was necessary to post a HUGE thank you to everyone that has watched the video. When we were filming this we had high hopes for what it could become but to be completely honest we did not expect anything close to the response that it has gotten so far. The video released on December 2nd and so far we have 80,000+ views on youtube and 175,000 views on World Star Hip Hop. We've also been featured on The Source, HipHopDx, 2dopeBoyz, ThisIs50, GoWhereHipHop, FakeShoreDrive, Ruby Hornet, ILLRoots, Nah Right, and countless other tumblr's and personal blogs. We're not close to being done promoting this video, we have a lot of stuff coming up as a result of the response to "Nigger In Northface" and will be telling you all about it soon.
